Southern Lions 59 v Arks 14

The boys were keen to put into practice all they had been preparing for over the last couple of weeks.
We dominated most of the game, and a credit to all the boys who did apply themselves extremely well.
We went into half time with a modest lead but were confident our fitness would allow us to overrun the opposition in the second half, unfortunately for Arks this proved the case and our boys went on to win 59 to 14.
The forwards dominated the scrums with Morgan, Brody, Isaiah, James, Max and first game player Jayden in the thick of things most of the day, that with some hard running by the backs we were rewarded with 11 tries, and 2 conversions.
The focus must now turn to putting in similar performance against the more fancied teams we line up again remembering that passing the ball through all hands and defending the line will win us the Game!
